One of the leading educational facilities in the county commissioned us to undertake an analysis and review of their existing tree risk management system.

 

Following consultation, we produced a bespoke Tree Policy Statement with a tree inspection methodology and a site specific inspection regime.

 

The tree inspection process involved

 

•Site zoning in relation to the intensity of use.

•Visual tree assessment.

•Recording the data in a tree schedule.

•Plotting the trees on a digital site plan.

 

Risks were then calculated and remedial tree work was prescribed in order of priority.
